iso install

There are several iso releaes in the dsitribution library. Each contains SAIL-3.1.0 running on either

  • SME 8.0 with Asterisk 1.4.30
  • SME 8.0 with Asterisk 1.6.2
  • SME 8.0 with Asterisk 1.8.3
  • CentOS 5.4 with Asterisk 1.4.30

rpm installs

The current stable release is SAIL-2.2.4-x and you should install it on SME Server 7.x with Asterisk-1.4.21.

The current release is SAIL-2.6.1-x and you should install it on SME Server 7.x with Asterisk-1.4.30or bette

The Development release is SAIL-3.0.1-x and you should install it on SME Server 8.x with Asterisk-1.4.30 or better.

Which SAIL rpm should I install?

for new installers.-

If you have SME 7.4 or 7.5 - install 2.2.4-x

If you have SME 8.0 - install 3.1-x.

For existing installs.-

If you have SME7.4 or earlier - install Asterisk release 1.4.21 and sail-2.2.4 release.
